COMPANY PROFILE
九韵文化
In 2011, Jiuyun Publishing (九韵文化) was founded to open up new horizons in Chinese-language creative writing.
The Jiuyun imprint focuses on original Chinese works, travel literature, social issues, religion, and mind-body-spirit themes. Representative titles include Days at the Youth Halfway House by social worker Lin Shao-Yu; Shining Fairytales: The Gemstone Princess Tarot in collaboration with tarot expert Meng Xiaojing; and The Starry Sky of the Gods: Zodiac Myths by astrology writer Dao Caoren Yu.
The “Classical Wisdom” series—including Zhuangzi and His Parables, Cai Gen Tan: China’s Chicken Soup for the Soul, and A New Account of the Tales of the World—has been widely praised by educators, with some titles incorporated into junior and senior high school teaching materials and selected as outstanding extracurricular reading.
